My name is George Harvotich. I live in Apple Valley. I was part of another automotive repair shop for ten years prior to it's closing due to the "Heart of the City Project" on Nicollet Avenue. After the closing, I opened a new automotive repair facility under the name Smith Nielsen / NAPA Autocare of Burnsville.
The Smith Nielsen name has an extensive history in the automotive repair industry. Since it began in the early '50s in Richfield, it has grown to multiple locations throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. We service foreign and domestic vehicles and we welcome fleet and commercial accounts. We can accommodate oversized vehicles and provide a service schedule that is convenient for most customers. |

Hi. My name is Paul Dietzinger; I have been in the automotive industry for over 20 years, and over 10 years at this location. I started as a lead technician in November 1996 and in October of 1998; I took over as manager of this location, and am now the owner. Before this, I worked at the Brooklyn Park location for five years. I have a six bay shop with two full-time technicians beside myself. Fast, friendly customer oriented service has always been and will continue to be our goal.
In my free time, I enjoy working on my street rods and going to car shows and swap meets. |

My name is Kirby Lesto. At Smith Nielsen we are capable of performing almost any repair your vehicle may require. Smith Nielsen offers same day service on most repairs. I attended Irondale High school in New Brighton, MN, until 1985. In 1986 I went to work for Midas Muffler and Brake for 9 1/2 years. I started out as a mechanic and after four years was a store manager. In 1997 I accepted a Store manager position at Amoco Certicare in Robbinsdale, MN. After four years with Amoco I accepted a store manager position with Smith Nielsen Automotive Service Group in 2001. Smith Nielsen is a great place to work. My pastimes are weekends up north with family, repairing and selling cars, camping, fishing and hunting.

As a native of White Bear Lake, I began my automotive career over 40 years ago as a teenager working for my Dad at Arnie's Mobil in White Bear Lake. It's been said I was born with a wrench in my hand. Over the past 12 years I have worked in service management at several metro area dealerships where I learned valuable customer service skills.
As a new member of the Smith Nielsen and TSI Transmission Shops team, I intend to continue to provide the high quality service that our customers expect from Smith Nielsen TSI.
In my free time, I enjoy building classic cars and have been involved in drag racing for the past 20 years. My wife and I are the parents of a grown daughter. We enjoy reading and relaxing together on weekends. |
